Vacherin Mont-d’Or is a seasonal cheese made from thermised milk.
Its production takes place only between August 15 and March 31, and it is available on the market from September to April. On the Swiss side, it’s matured for 17–25 days.
Each wheel is crafted in strict accordance with the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO/AOP) requirements, ensuring exceptional quality, authenticity, and the distinctive character that has made it a true treasure of the Vaud Jura.
